Feel like a Chef

I have been very tired and sick lately plus moody. Hardly see hubby at night cause I slept really early (I can tell he is not very happy) and thought maybe a romantic dinner would make me feel alive again. I picked 27th Nov ( 3 years & 4 months anniversary) to surprise him a dinner at home.
Look what I cooked, lamb chop as the main and brocolli soup as entre'e for the surprise dinner. Turned out ok I guess but Dino likes it, maybe he was very hungry after work. Didn't have time to do the desert but what missing was our non-alcholic wine, I forgot about that it is still in the fridge!!

Big 30 at Work

On 16th Nov finally got to together to celebrate my birthday at work with 2 cakes (since our office is growing one cake is no longer sufficient). Thanks to Maria for the NON-ALCOHOLIC WINE for the gift!! Hmmmm... they finally got me a drink on our regular Friday Beer-O'CLOCK. Well to anyone who wonders what it is ... Beer O'clock is on Friday at 3 pm when staff get together for lots of drink!!

Second trip to Perth

Arrived Perth early in the morning on 2nd Nov and visited Doddie for lunch for Yummy Curry Laksa, and of course she didn't cook her mum did. And the view taken from her house!! The weekend is going to be busy because of the Swan River Red Bull Air Show!!

Had Big Breaky with Dod and Nick. Very Yummy, I had Hazelnut Latte and Butter Pancake and Dean had this really tasty Salmon and spinach with poarched eggs, I mean really is this breakfast or Lunch? That's why they say eat like a KING for Breakfast!!

I hope it's not too late to wish myself HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY !! Sooo old but I still feel very young!! As you can see the numbers are made of maggie goreng at Makan2 Cafe' somewhere in Perth, creative invention from hubby...

Giant Creature at Brunswick Site

Concrete Pump Pipeline is dominating our site air space now. It works like pumping fresh cream to a cake!!! But It looks like a big spider's leg!!

Bellwater BBQ Series 3

Greek salad Yummy!! On Friday 26th Oct we have another BBQ on site, this time because we are pouring Ground Floor Slab. Surprisingly I was full eating all the salads that I can eat (since I can't eat the meat not halal & babi ishk ishk)...

Public Housing in Melbourne

Yesterday I went to see this award winning Green Design building at St Kilda, Melbourne, as the Council recommended me to have a look at it. Funky articulated facade looking building for a Public Housing. Yes, it is a PUBLIC HOUSING (similar like low-cost rumah pangsa) !! Kind of curious who is entitled to stay in this so-call Public Housing. The best thing about it, not only it's funky it is also an environmentally friendly design (that's what they claim to be). But to the person that chased me out from taking the photos...you and me know why you live here and not me (dunno whether that's a good thing or not!!)

I wish one day Malaysia Government can build a more design-oriented looking Public Housing Development to replace the dull face-looking Rumah Pangsa.

Second Day Of Raya

Up and going at 9.30 am on a beautiful Sunday of Second Day of Hari Raya, me and hubby mowing our fully grown lawn (I mean only Dean with that big mower whilst I took some pictures and swept the grass!!). After 3 hours of hard work we had sore back, arm and feet...why can't I just pay someone (i.e. cheap labour) for all these ridiculous amount of hard work !!

Aidilfitri 2007

Me and hubby with Bang Cak and cousins at Malaysia hall on Hari Raya Aidilifitri for prayers and food. So first day of raya in Melbourne started ok but after that we went back home and started cleaning the house!!
